NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING AND MEETING
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Town Board of the Town of Germantown shall hold a public hearing on May 14, 2024 at 6:30 pm at the Town Hall, 50 Palatine Park Road, Germantown, NY 12526 to obtain citizens’ views and comments relative to the submission of an application to Empire State Development for financial assistance under the Restore NY Communities Initiative. This project includes rehabilitation of a currently vacant cold storage facility for use as an artist studio and other mixed commercial uses to the extent permitted by local zoning laws. The following property will be submitted for consideration: 11 Main Street, 1.2 acres with approximately 48,000 square foot building, vacant commercial property, proposed for rehabilitation. Written public comments may also be submitted to townboard@germantownny.org prior to the public hearing. The Town Board’s monthly meeting will directly follow the public hearing. Members of the public may attend the public hearing and meeting in person or by Zoom audio/video technology by accessing the link on the calendar on the Town’s website at germantownny.org.
