As we all know, COVID-19 infection rates remain a concern in the United States and Columbia County as well. The experts advise that people continue following recommended practices that remain our best defenses: wear masks in public, maintain social distancing, use sanitizer, wash your hands, and avoid indoor gatherings. Vaccines are being administered but until more becomes available we all need to continue to do our part to protect ourselves and our neighbors. Please be safe. The Town Hall, including all offices, are open on a limited basis. Please refer to the office hours posted on our website as there have been some changes. Visitors will be logged in and screened for COVID-19 in accordance with the NYS mandated Safety Plan which we have developed. Please make sure you wear a mask and practice social distancing.
The Germantown Town Court is conducting in-person proceedings on a scheduled basis only.
You will receive a notice with from the Court for a scheduled date and time to appear. Questions regarding scheduling may be directed to the Court Clerk at GermantownTownCourt@nycourts.gov.
Please note that due to limited court operations, email communication is preferred; the Court may also be contacted at (518) 537-6687; follow the prompts to reach the Court Clerk’s extension and leave a voice mail message.

The Kellner Community Activity Building and the Parsonage will remain closed until further notice.
As we reopen in phases under the Governor's plan, we will continue to provide updates as quickly as possible.
Please practice social distancing if you do go outside. And please wear a mask if you will be in proximity to others.
The Town Board will meet remotely on May 25, 2021 and June 8, 2021 using Zoom audio/video technology.
The information about how the public can participate will be posted by May 25, 2021 and June 11, 2021 for the respective meetings.
The Planning Board and Zoning Board of Appeals will meet remotely in May and June, as necessary. Similarly, GEDAC, LWRP committee, WAC the CSC Task Force and SRT committee will also meet remotely. The boards and committees will use Zoom audio/video technology. Please check the calendar and our website for more details about upcoming meetings, agendas, and information about how the public can participate.
We will reassess the situation by June 15, 2021.
