Notice of receipt of tax roll and warrant

TAKE NOTICE, that I, Kerrie Abela, the undersigned Collector of Taxes of the Town of Germantown, County of Columbia and State of New York, have duly received the tax roll and warrant for the collection of taxes within the Town of Germantown for the year 2024. The taxes will be collected by the Bank of Greene County at 4266 Rt 9G, Germantown, N. Y. during regular banking hours. I will be holding hours for the month of January from Tuesday through Saturday from 1pm to 4pm for information and questions at 85 Palatine Park Road, Germantown, N.Y.

TAKE FURTHER NOTICE, that taxes may be paid on or before January 31, 2024 without charge of interest. On all taxes received after such date, there shall be added interest of 1% if paid on or before February 29, 2024 and an additional percent for each additional month or fraction thereof thereafter until such taxes are paid or until the return of unpaid taxes to the county treasurer pursuant to law.

TAKE FURTHER NOTICE, that pursuant to the provisions of law the tax roll of the Town of Germantown will be returned to the County Treasurer of the County of Columbia on the 1st day of April 1, 2024.
